1957 Marqués de Riscal - Rioja Reserva - 1 Bottle (0.75L)

A bottle of Marqués de Riscal Reserva, from the vintage 1957, the corks are in good condition, as are the capsules, label has some damage , see photos.

Production: It contains a negligible percentage of white grape varieties, mainly Viura, as at that time a few white vines were planted at the head of the vineyards for family consumption, which were also harvested for the winery at harvest time. It remains in vats for approximately 12 months. It matures for between 45 and 50 months in old 225-litre American oak barrels. Continuous racking takes place every 3 months during the first three years to avoid having to filter the wine before bottling. Traditional clarification using fresh egg whites. Bottled by hand directly from the barrel. A minimum of 5 years in the cellar before release.
