Set of six 800 silver cups by Brandimarte Firenze with a turned stem, mid-20th century. The interior is vermeil silver. Silver marks incised on the rim. Weight: 697 g.
(The French term vermeil indicates a type of gilded silver. The requirements for this material are a base of sterling silver, coated with gold plating of at least 10 carats and of a thickness of at least 1.5 microns.
