XTC’s Extincteur Tabasco Scorpion is a hand-painted aluminium sculpture from France, 30 cm high by 8.5 cm wide by 8.5 cm deep, edition 21/30 dated 2026, signed on the back with a COA provided.
Description from the seller
Extinguisher Tabasco Scorpion by XTC.
Aluminium sculpture commercially manufactured (extinguisher) and customized, finished by hand by the Artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes. The edition number applies to the painted finish by the artist and not to the base object, the extinguisher.
Entirely painted with spray paints and varnish, no stickers, even the label is fully painted for a homogeneous result and better durability over time.
Numbered out of 30 and signed on the back, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The copy sent is not necessarily the one in the photo.
Careful dispatch with tracking.
Born in 1978 in central France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual research has become a passion, which had to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption, which he makes clash with the world of luxury and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of plastics and sometimes mineral materials.
All defects or imperfections (recovered extinguisher) are an integral part of the work.
Extinguisher empty. (It is of course forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose safety labels and/or pin are missing)
