BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Cádiz and currently reside and work in Barcelona. I am a painter, and my work is mainly focused on landscape, understood as a space of pictorial exploration where I investigate atmosphere, matter, and the perception of the environment.

I graduated in Fine Arts at the Universitat de Barcelona, where I subsequently completed a master's and earned a PhD, developing a training that combines artistic practice with theoretical research.

My painting work develops mainly through oil painting, a medium with which I explore the construction of the landscape from a contemporary perspective, interested in the relationship between nature, memory, and visual experience.

Throughout my career I have participated in solo and group exhibitions at national and international levels. My practice centers on landscape as a field of pictorial investigation, where painting becomes a way of thinking and experimenting with the territory through matter and color.
