Elegant oval cameo brooch with a beautifully worked classical female portrait in relief.
This cameo shows a woman's profile with a richly decorated headdress, possibly a depiction of Minerva or Athena.
The cameo is clamped in a gold mount and equipped with a pin clasp at the back.
In used vintage/antique condition, with age and wear marks on the mounts and clasps. Locally there is patina, discoloration and light scratches visible. View the detail photos carefully; these form an important part of the description.
