The work captures the authentic, vibrant atmosphere of a Neapolitan alley on a market day. Painted in a classic style with impressionist touches, the daytime scene depicts flower and fruit stalls with colorful awnings, figures in traditional costumes, and a horse-carriage in the background, framed by historic buildings.
