Rarest issue of Diabolik,
Number 8 of the First Historic Series: "Buried alive!",
published by Astorina in 1963, distributed by Ingoglia.
This is one of the milestones of the Giussani Sisters saga.
On the cover is the original price of L. 150.
Condition of the issue: The item presents itself in decent condition, entirely original to the period and never subjected to restorations
Spine: Some abrasions, small cracks and minor paper losses (as in the detailed photos).
Cover: Signs of reading wear along the margins, corners slightly rounded and chipped. Graphics and colors still vivid. A line of pen noted.
Interior: The inner pages are in generally excellent condition (except page no. 3 which shows a very slight detachment at the top).
The paper has taken on a physiological, uniform and fascinating amber tone, entirely natural for a magazine of over sixty years, there are very slight foxing on only some pages of the issue, which do not affect its integrity and guaranteeing good readability and a not-bad graphic rendering.
The binding is solid and holds perfectly; the paper maintains a good feel to the touch, with no signs of fragility or tendency to crumble.
The back (featuring Ginko's face) is in very good condition. The red background maintains notable brightness and saturation.
For maximum transparency, a small period handwritten note in pen ("190") is inside the yellow DIABOLIK logo at the top right. The edges and corners show light and physiological white abrasions from rubbing (white edges).
