Mr. Brainwash (Thierry Guetta) presents the original digital print Exit Through the Gift Shop (Museum Exclusive) on high‑quality paper, 46 cm wide by 30 cm high, weighing 1 kg, originating from the United States, in the 2010–2020 period, in excellent condition, signed on the plate, sold by owner or reseller.
Description from the seller
Exclusive collector's edition of one of the most ironic and representative works by the renowned Franco-American street artist Mr. Brainwash (Thierry Guetta), acquired directly from his physical museum (Mr. Brainwash Art Museum).
The work is a direct satire of the contemporary art market and a meta-reference to the acclaimed documentary of the same name directed by Banksy in 2010.
Details of the work and composition:
Style: Artistic appropriation and Street Art. The background features a traditional rural landscape painting on which the artist overlays disruptive urban elements.
Key elements: The text "EXIT THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP" printed in a vibrant neon pink with a fresh paint drips effect, accompanied by an indicative arrow.
Wink to Banksy: In the bottom-right corner stands the iconic stencil rat (symbol of street art), intervened in Mr. Brainwash's pop style with star-shaped sunglasses.
Concept: A piece laden with conceptual irony: a critique of museums’ commercialization that could only be acquired, precisely, inside the gift shop of his own museum.
Technical specifications:
Artist: Mr. Brainwash (Thierry Guetta)
Support: Digital print on high-quality art paper with excellent weight.
Dimensions: 45 cm wide x 30 cm high (ideal size and very easy to frame)
Condition: Excellent state of preservation, stored flat / with no imperfections (adjust according to actual condition).
Provenance: Originally acquired exclusively from the gift shop of the Mr. Brainwash Art Museum (Beverly Hills).
An excellent opportunity for pop art enthusiasts and collectors of the global Street Art scene.
