This iconic chronograph from the 90s/early 2000s was born from the prestigious collaboration between Manifattura Eterna and the Porsche Design house. A piece that perfectly embodies the functional and rigorous aesthetics of the early ’90s, a golden era for these technical and sporty timepieces.
The case, solid stainless steel, with a diameter of 40 mm (excluding the crown), stands out for its satin finish and clean lines, typical of F.A. Porsche’s design philosophy. Portability is excellent, with a lug-to-lug distance of 43 mm and a thickness of 14.5 mm that convey sturdiness to the wrist. The screwed case back guarantees water resistance, with the logo and reference (6625.41) clearly engraved, while the crystal is in excellent condition.
The real protagonist is the black dial, a masterpiece of legibility. The three sub-dials in ivory contrast give it a great “reverse panda” personality. The baton indices, with their vanilla patina aged by time (visible from the “T SWISS” inscription at 6 o’clock indicating the use of tritium), impart a unique vintage warmth. Equally captivating are the main hands, also with original patina, contrasted by the central red chronograph hand that adds the final sporty touch. At 3 o’clock is the practical window for the day (in English) and the date. A detailed tachymeter scale frames everything, ready for track use.
The beating heart of this timepiece is the legendary Swiss Made ETA Valjoux 7750 caliber, a famous automatic chronograph movement known for its reliability and precision, operating at 28,800 A/h. The watch runs perfectly and the chronograph section starts, stops and resets with the right precision.
Completing the watch is its original satinated stainless steel bracelet, intact and contemporary, with all links included and with the fold-over clasp branded with the Porsche Design logo. The total length, including the case, is about 20 cm.
