Description from the seller
ONE-OF-A-KIND 3D HAND-PAINTED WORK
RE-CAN
A can lives three minutes in our hands and two hundred years in a landfill.
RE-CAN reverses the process: every can collected is cleaned, hand-painted, splashed with color — and escapes its wasteful fate to enter the realm of a work of art. No reproduction, no industrial series: each piece is unique, and bears the trace of the gesture that saved it.
The background of the painting is also hand-painted, texture by texture, to recreate a street-wall effect.
Waste becomes relic. The ephemeral becomes eternal.
RE-CAN has no Instagram account, no page, no feed. Not out of calculated mystery, but because he’s a street guy — he has always created without asking for permission or chasing likes, and he intends to keep it that way. No algorithm, no showroom, no accountability. Just the street, the hands, and the material he’s given.
