Description from the seller
An atmospheric and authentic set of three classic apothecary glass bottles. These characteristic pots were formerly used in pharmacies to store medicinal powders and chemicals.
The set consists of three different sizes (large 28 x 12 cm, medium 18 x 8 cm, and small 15 x 6 cm) and weighs a total of 2.2 kilograms.
Each piece is fitted with a beautiful traditional shield label with a gold-edged border and classic Latin inscriptions (including Sulfur Depurat and Ferros).
All three bottles are complete with their original hexagonally faceted glass stoppers with a matte-ground finish.
The condition is very good, used condition. The glass is clear and undamaged aside from normal signs of aging.
The labels are authentic and clearly legible (see photos).
A beautiful decorative ensemble that fits excellently in a classical, industrial, or curiosa interior, a display cabinet, or a collection of medical history.
