The pen holder is entirely handmade in Murano glass, using glassblowing and the application of thin colored glass canes arranged vertically. The tones of ruby red and turquoise create a strong color contrast, enhancing the transparency and brightness of the glass.

The cylindrical form, slightly rounded at the base, is characterized by a delicately wavy and irregular upper edge, achieved by hand. The waves of the edge, in addition to giving movement and character to the silhouette, create natural resting points that help keep pens and pencils neatly gathered inside the pen holder.

The vertical arrangement of the colored canes follows harmoniously the surface of the object, creating a dynamic effect and a pleasant visual depth, enhanced by the glass’s transparency.
