Description from the seller
Original oil painting on canvas. A unique work. Canvas entirely handmade. 40 x 40 cm. Signed by the artist. Certificate. (The interior image is an AI visualization provided for indicative purposes.)
Extreme close-up: a mouth, a lipstick, a hand. Nothing else. The tube is gold, slim, and its shape leaves no doubt — it’s a bullet brought to the lips. The red is carmine deep, glossy, with white light specks that catch every contour. Behind, a bottle-green, almost black, background that makes the flesh pop.
Le Yack plays with double meaning to the end: seduction as a weapon, everyday gesture as ritual before the clash. The slightly parted mouth, the teeth grazing, the finger holding the tube like a trigger — everything says something is going to happen.
The painting is nourished, with a clearly visible brush, impasto on the lips and on the metal reflections; the background is brushed broadly, in cross-hatched strokes, to recede. A tableau with strong decorative impact, legible from afar.
Delivery information: The canvas is shipped rolled without a frame, carefully protected, placed in a reinforced rigid tube. This shipping method guarantees optimal protection of the work during transport. The buyer can have the canvas mounted on a frame locally according to their presentation preferences.
