Bookends (2) - art deco, mid century - Marble bookends

Marble bookends (set).
Beautiful set of solid marble bookends in the shape of antelope/gnu heads, dating from around 1950-1970. The sculptures are richly detailed with characteristic ribbed horns and a warm beige marble color. Each bookend measures 22 x 10 x 13 cm and weighs about 2.6 kg. The set is in good used condition with light signs of aging. A particularly decorative object, suitable within an Art Deco, Mid-Century, or Hollywood Regency interior. The object will be carefully packed and shipped.
