Bassano - Centrepiece - Ceramic - Fruit baskets

Two Italian fruit baskets set in white ceramic, in the barbotine or Capodimonte style, decorated with realistically painted fruits.
The fruits depicted are: apple, lemon, orange, cherries, banana, mandarin.
The larger bowl, woven ceramic, is stamped on the bottom.
Bassano ceramics are an art that has existed since the 16th century, with the creation by Simone Marinoni of the first tin-glazed earthenware factory in 1540.
There are small flaws, one of which is shown by blue dots in a photo. The banana has been restored at the stem with a black tint.
Dimensions: 14 x 28 x 28 cm and 13 x 17 x 14 cm.
