Orthodox Icon – Christ, the Four Evangelists, and the Saints
Ancient Orthodox icon depicting Christ at the center, surrounded by the four Evangelists, with two angels at the sides and figures of saints, including Saint James the Martyr and another saint.
The work is not entirely painted: it features hand-made gilded decorations integrated with the painted parts. The surface shows a beautiful antique patina, craquelure and signs of time that underscore its authenticity and historical character.
