AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

What happens when one of summer’s simplest pleasures becomes something you can keep forever? You get Soft Serve, Hard Art.

A playful take on the classic soft serve ice cream, transformed into a colorful sculptural artwork.

Bright, glossy and almost good enough to taste, the familiar swirl is brought to life in vibrant orange and yellow tones. The melting details capture that perfect summer moment when your ice cream is already starting to drip, but this time there is no need to hurry.

Designed and produced from start to finish in my own studio, each artwork goes through several stages before it is finished.

The process
The artwork begins as an original 3D design created digitally by me. From this design, I produce a physical master model using a 3D printer.

The master model is then carefully refined by hand. Small imperfections are corrected, surfaces are smoothed and details are adjusted until the shape and finish are exactly as intended.

From this master, I create my own mould by hand. The artwork is then cast using a special high-strength plaster.

After casting, every individual piece is removed from the mould and finished separately by hand. Imperfections are corrected, the surface is sanded and refined, and the artwork is prepared for painting.

Hand-finished and individually painted
Each piece is painted and finished individually by hand using a combination of hand-painting and spray-painting techniques.

The colors are mixed and applied individually, with the painted details following the curves, drips and swirls of the ice cream. Because of this manual finishing process, small variations naturally occur from one artwork to another, giving every piece its own character.

No two finished artworks are ever exactly alike.
This is not a commercially manufactured object that has simply been painted or customised afterwards. The complete process, from the original design and master model to mould-making, casting, sanding, painting and final finishing, is part of my own production process.

And unlike the real thing, this one will never melt. A little piece of summer that stays with you all year round.

Solid form
Cast in a durable high-strength plaster and carefully finished to create a smooth, high-gloss surface with sculptural details that give the ice cream its playful and almost edible appearance.

Framed display
Presented in a clean white deep frame, allowing the sculpture to stand away from the background and emphasize its three-dimensional form.

Ready to hang directly on the wall.

Size
Approximately 31 × 21 cm.

The concept
Keep the summer alive.

Soft Serve, Hard Art captures that carefree feeling of warm days, melting ice cream and moments you wish could last just a little longer.

Because summer eventually ends, but this ice cream does not have to.

A playful statement piece for pop-art lovers, design enthusiasts and collectors who would happily keep a little bit of summer on their wall all year round.
