Bottle of 750 ml of Masseto 1994, Tuscany IGT. Merlot in pure form from the famous blue-clay Bolgheri vineyard, aged 24 months in French oak barriques. The 1994 is a historic vintage for the estate: it is considered by the producer itself the vintage in which Masseto first defined its true identity — an opulent, rich and layered wine, with notes of dried black cherry, earth, coffee and dark chocolate. Antonio Galloni (Vinous) tasted it in 2020 awarding it 95/100 and describing it as a complete and seductive wine, in full maturity. Absolute rarity: Masseto production in the 1990s was extremely limited.

Conservation
Stored by private individual in a temperature-controlled environment, away from light, with the label protected by a transparent film since purchase.

Conditions
Label and capsule intact, level within the neck. Bottle never moved nor exposed to temperature fluctuations.
