Rare original edition of 1784 of this famous poetic and bacchic work set in Naples, enriched by the author's rich erudite annotations. The work is dedicated to the illustrious Neapolitan scholar and poet Luigi Serio, as evidenced by the elegant dedication dated Naples, 10 June 1793 and signed by the author. Volume bound in contemporary half-leather with corners and boards covered in fine marbled paper; spine with raised bands and gilt titles. Format in 8vo, pages numbered up to 108, preceded by the preliminary dedication and preface.
