A vintage Upsala-Ekeby ceramic vase designed by Vicke Lindstrand, in vitrified ceramic, Sweden, produced about 1950–1955, height 15 cm, base diameter 6 cm, width 8 cm, depth 14 cm, in good used condition with minor signs of age and a top defect, signed on the base.

An antique Upsala-Ekeby ceramic vase, a company of porcelain, tiles, bricks, and glass founded in 1886 in Uppsala, Sweden. In 1910, Upsala-Ekeby hired designers for its production of domestic and art ceramics. This vase was designed by Victor Emanuel Lindstrand, known as Vicke Lindstrand, a Swedish glass designer, textile and ceramic designer, and painter. He is considered a pioneer of Swedish glass art. His work was part of the art competitions at the 1932 Summer Olympics and the 1936 Summer Olympics. This vase was produced from 1950 to 1955. It is signed on the base. It has a height of 15 cm and a base diameter of 6 cm. It has a flaw at the top. The photographs are part of the description.
