The pieces feature abundant relief ornamentation, with rocaille motifs, arabesques and flowers, characteristic of French decorative taste in the late 19th century.

Very well preserved without damage, they retain good shine and are in excellent usable condition, the knife blades bear Paris registry with their age patina.
