Elegant and rare pair of busts depicting Saint Peter and Saint Paul, petrified marble-like stone, a smooth and compact material, not plaster nor stucco – therefore ideal also for outdoor display.

Both busts are mounted on refined marble bases in excellent condition. The sculptures show defined features and meticulous details, the work of an expert hand, probably an Italian sculptor active in the mid-20th century (approximate period: 1940s–1960s).
