Giorgio Toccaceli born in Castelfidardo, Italy 1954 has a background as a caricaturist for newspapers, has participated in the International Museum of Caricature in Tolentino, in the Biennale of Humour; his art spread through exhibitions dedicated to him such as "tuffo nel colore" or "Nascosto nella tela" the latter takes its name from his well-known signature, the one of drawing himself inside his paintings. His playful inspiration, which draws smiles, exudes sweetness and makes one reflect. His caricatures and his paintings are indeed able to “immortalize” in the same action the feelings, the virtues and the vices of an entire community, contextualizing them and offering a sarcastic, yet always delicate, glimpse of society itself. Giorgio Toccaceli's art is in constant flux and moves with ingenuity among varied graphic lines, adapting to the times without chasing them.
