About the artwork:
In its series “Dualita,” the artist AVENZANO brings together two opposing languages on a single canvas: powerful, freehand brushstrokes in black and white and soft, luminous color gradients. At the center of the series is the duality of things: no matter how different structure and color are, they fit together here so perfectly. Each one independently strong. But only together does the balance emerge that sustains the work. Painted on raw, unprimed cotton canvas, the texture of the material remains visible and lends each work its unmistakable character.

About the artist:
AVENZANO is a professional painter. He lives and works in his studio in Germany. Influenced by the elegance of Italian design, the rawness of Brazilian Brutalism, and the clarity of contemporary minimalism, his works are characterized by strong graphic elements and a natural, earthy color palette. His oeuvre is defined as much by what he brings to the canvas as by what he leaves out. Central to his work is the aesthetic concept of Wabi-Sabi: the belief that beauty lies not in perfection but in imperfection, irregularity, and authenticity.
