3 small Chinese jadeite jade pendants –China- 20th Century
On offer are 3 Chinese jadeite jade pendants. 2 of 3 are heart-shaped. The third one is shaped as a small Buddha. 1 of the heart-shaped pendants is ice-jadeite jade (grade A). Ice jade is very popular and is often considered a sign of exceptional quality jade. The other heart-shaped pendant has the attractive translucent green-white color combination. The small Buddha pendant is made of green-white jadeite jade.
The 2 heart-shaped jades have been identified as jadeite jade (grade A) by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color for the 2 heart-shaped pendants. The small jadeite jade Buddha pendant might be color-treated.
