Cyril Keller - Tatendrang

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed—the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. This opened up a completely new creative world that continues to excite me to this day. Since then I have passionately dedicated myself to abstract painting and continually experiment with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique shapes and textures created by the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist, I love constantly developing and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism onto the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with great enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination and bring them lasting joy.

For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Every observer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting and thus lets it affect them in a completely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
