made of brass with turned wooden handles.

These irons have a small hatch or rear door (slightly open on the model on the right) allowing a preheated metal ingot to be inserted for pressing.

Formerly used for finishing or small linens (such as lace),

fabriqués en laiton avec des poignées en bois tourné.

Ces fers possèdent une petite trappe ou porte arrière (visible entrouverte sur le modèle de droite) permettant d'insérer un lingot de métal préalablement chauffé pour repasser.

Autrefois utilisés pour les finitions ou les petits linges (comme les dentelles),
