Jan Simon KNIKKER (Leiden 1911–The Hague 1990)

Jan Simon Knikker, also known as Jan Knikker Jr., was a Dutch painter, mainly of landscapes and cityscapes in a late Hague School tradition. Jan Simon Knikker was born in Leiden as the son of painter Jan Simon Knikker Sr., later lived and worked in Wassenaar, Voorschoten and The Hague, and signed his works with “Jan Knikker Jr.”
