Magnificent English inkwell made from a substantial block of cut crystal, topped with a lid and a mounting in solid sterling silver 925/1000.

The mounting bears several British hallmarks: GN/RH, the mark of the famous silversmiths George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, as well as the Birmingham anchor, the passant lion confirming Sterling silver, and the date letter (1907). The lid also bears its control marks on the inside.
