Description from the seller
A charming vintage Hamilton manual-winding wristwatch featuring a distinctive Art Deco rectangular design, a warm champagne-tone dial, and elegant Arabic numeral hour markers.
The dial features the Hamilton signature, complemented by classic hands and a subsidiary seconds dial positioned at 6 o’clock. The naturally aged dial displays an attractive vintage patina that reflects the character and history of this timepiece.
One of the most distinctive features of this watch is its articulated hinged lug design, giving the rectangular case an elegant architectural appearance typical of Hamilton dress watches from this period.
The watch is fitted with a gold-tone expandable metal bracelet, complementing the warm appearance of the case and dial.
The case back features a personal presentation engraving reading “TO M. SHIMIZU FROM ADOLF MARCH 1976,” adding an interesting historical character to the watch. Please note that this engraving date does not represent the manufacturing date of the watch.
Please carefully examine all photographs for the watch’s condition.
