This model is a vintage Omega Constellation Chronometer Quartz watch, manufactured in the late 1970s (globally released in 1978).
Details and Features
Main Model Reference: Corresponds to reference ST 398.0852 (also catalogued under case number 198.0117).
Case design: Notable for its 35 mm noble steel case with a distinctive faceted/octagonal design, highly representative of 1970s geometric aesthetics.
Movement: Equipped with an analog electronic quartz movement, specifically Omega Calibre 1343. It carries official chronometer certification, ensuring high precision for the era.
Bracelet: Comes with its original integrated steel bracelet of flat articulated links that flow continuously from the case itself.
Dial: Silver-grey or satin-colored with applied baton-style indices, a date window at 3 o’clock, and the iconic Constellation collection star engraved in the lower area.
