Rare set of 3 volumes of the Philosophy Course by Jean-Philibert Damiron, comprising the two Psychology volumes of 1837 and the Morality volume of 1842, in second editions revised, corrected and augmented.
Remarkable feature: the third volume, devoted to Morality and written by Jean-Philibert Damiron, bears a handwritten signature “Damiron.” This signature, affixed in a work by the author himself and dating from his lifetime, constitutes a particularly interesting element for philosophy collectors.

Damiron develops notably the study of the human mind, psychological faculties, consciousness and the principles of morality.
The Morality volume is particularly interesting since it includes two discourses on the immortality of the soul.

Approximately 22 × 15 cm, Volume 1: 342 pages, Volume 2: 348, Volume 3: 488.
Old half-leather bindings in brown, marbled boards, spines adorned with gilt lines and gilt inscriptions 1, 2 and 3. Overall a homogeneous and solid set.
Slight wear and rubbing to the bindings, especially at the headcaps, signs of use and some marks of time.
Interiors generally well preserved
The signature is clearly visible in the third volume.
