Richard Ginori - Vase - Porcelain - Istoriato vase

A high-relief white porcelain vase from Richard Ginori Manifattura di Doccia, decorated with intricate mythological scenes. It is a classic of Ginori production, often used as a centerpiece or as luxurious home decor accents. The piece, bearing the brand, dates to the early decades of the 20th century. The inscription GINORI was added later to avoid confusion with crude imitations of the crowned N, imitations placed on pseudo-Capodimonte objects produced in Campania, Veneto, Germany (Thuringia), China. I call them pseudo-Capodimonte objects because the genuine Capodimonte Manifactory had ceased activity more than two centuries ago and had been acquired by the old Ginori with the brand and molds included. Height 21 cm - maximum diameter 15 cm - opening 9.5 cm - base 9 cm. Perfect, without chips or cracks. In the photo you can verify that the vase is in like-new condition.
