An enchanting lot composed of six posters dedicated to Jean-Michel Folon, one of the most recognizable and poetic European illustrators of the 20th century, printed a few years after their first printing.
The works collect some of the most characteristic images of Folon’s universe: solitary and suspended figures, imaginary landscapes, trees, horizons softly shaded and symbolic characters. The blue, violet, pink and orange tones create that particular dreamy and melancholic atmosphere that has made his artistic language immediately recognizable.
The lot includes posters related to exhibitions and international cultural events:

* Galerie de France, Paris
* Church of Santa Eufemia, Spoleto – 24 June/10 July 1977
* “L’Arbre”, Galerie Marquet, Paris – 1975
