I present Portrait #123, an original work in which I build the face using broad fields of color, stylized shapes, and clean lines.

The tilt of the head and closed eyes convey serenity, introspection, and a sense of stillness. The face is divided between orange and pink tones, crossed by a cream stripe that accentuates its geometric structure. The sky-blue background brings brightness, while the petroleum green, purple, mustard yellow, and black create contrast and depth.

This work is part of my series The 1000 Faces, a project of one thousand unique portraits with which I explore different identities, emotions, and ways of representing the human face. Each painting belongs to the same visual line, but has its own personality.

Because of its balance between warm and cool colors, the piece can become the focal point of a living room, dining room, bedroom, library, or contemporary workspace.
