A fine original woodblock print by Yoshida Hiroshi (吉田博) titled "Sarusawa Pond" (猿澤池), depicting Nara's Kofuku-ji five-story pagoda rising above the treeline, framed by cascading willow branches over the still waters of Sarusawa Pond. Figures stroll along the water's edge near a small lantern and a lakeside pavilion strung with lanterns, glimpsed through cherry blossoms. Rendered in a soft, muted palette of blue-grey and dusky pink, evoking a tranquil dusk atmosphere characteristic of Yoshida's shin-hanga landscapes. The print bears the artist's pencil signature and title inscription in the lower margin, along with the carved seal, and is marked jizuri (自摺, self-printed by the artist). Dated Showa 8 (1933).
