Shepard Fairey (OBEY) – “Lotus Hands (Red)” – Signed Letterpress – 122/250
Original limited-edition letterpress print by renowned American contemporary and street artist Shepard Fairey, founder of OBEY Giant.
The artwork depicts two raised hands supporting a lotus flower. Fairey uses the lotus as a symbol of harmony, unity and triumph over adversity, while the hands represent humanity’s pursuit of harmony with one another and the planet.
Printed by letterpress on cream cotton paper with intentionally hand-deckled edges. Hand-signed and dated “23” by Shepard Fairey in pencil at the lower right and individually numbered 122/250 at the lower left. The embossed OBEY publishing mark is also present.
