Mechanical hand-wound Swiss movement (the mechanism visible in the photos with the balance bridge engraved and the marking of a globe with meridian lines on the plate). It has a defect: crown winding failure when it is already wound; should be checked by a professional.

The case bears an engraving: Classic Helmet (Adrian or Brodrick Style): The profile shows a warrior with a helmet evoking designs adopted by European armies during the Great War. Although stylized with a crest (reminiscent of classical antiquity), it closely resembles the allegorical representation of the French "Marianne" or of "Britannia" with combat helmets adapted to the Art Nouveau aesthetic. The Hair in the Wind / Dynamism: The dramatic movement in the hair and contours of the figure represents "fidelity", "courage" or the forward march, themes very common in propaganda and military medals between 1914 and 1918. 24-Hour Dial: Watches with dual numbering (13 to 24 in red) gained enormous popularity precisely during World War I, due to the need for soldiers to read hours in the strict 24-hour format to coordinate operations and artillery strikes.
