Superb edition in three volumes of the Jerusalem Bible, published by Lidis Editions in Paris.
This edition revisits the famous French translation carried out under the direction of the École Biblique de Jérusalem.
The works are introduced by Daniel Pézeril, auxiliary bishop of Paris, Jacques Maury, president of the National Council of the Reformed Church of France, and Rabbi Josy Eisenberg.
The set comprises 3 volumes, each with an elegant publisher’s binding in red/bordeaux, richly adorned with decorative gold motifs inspired by antique binders. The spines are particularly decorative and give the overall appearance a very elegant and bibliophile character.
