Andries de Jong Amsterdam – Mechanical brass ship's clock with strike mechanism – Made in Germany

Beautiful mechanical ship's clock by Andries de Jong Amsterdam, executed in heavy brass and equipped with a classic white dial with Roman numerals.
The clock has a mechanical movement and strike, both functioning well. The glass front can be opened and the winding key is included.

On the dial it reads “A° 1787 – Andries de Jong – Amsterdam” and at the bottom “Made in Germany”.

The brass case has an attractive authentic appearance with normal signs of wear and aging, including local patina and discoloration. Not overly polished, which has nicely preserved the maritime character.
