I’m selling from my private collection.
Rare and impressive monopusher Universal Watch chronograph (historic brand predating Universal Genève) dating to the early 1920s, characterized by a 39 mm oversized case and the chronograph control at 6 o'clock integrated on the lug bridge.
MECHANICAL CONDITIONS AND TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE:
The watch has been completely disassembled, cleaned, and serviced by a specialized watchmaker (detailed photos of the disassembled movement available in the gallery).
Caliber: In-house with column-wheel chronograph mechanism, high-precision regulator with a bi-metallic balance with compensation screws and blue-steel hairspring with Breguet terminal curve.
Chronometer readings: Accuracy of +5 s/day, exceptional amplitude of 307°, beat error 1.8 ms. The chronographic function engages, operates, and resets with precise snap.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Case: 39 mm (excluding crown), wire lugs. Shows the original, signed patina of the era with wear/pitting of the chromed plating, as highlighted in the photo.
Dial: Original enamel/porcelain in perfect condition, free of cracks or crazing. Double scale with a central snail tachymeter and an external red telemeter.
Hands: Breguet pomme-style hands in original blue-steel.
Pusher: Monopusher located at 6 o’clock.
