Cyril Keller - Blue Veil XXL

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From about 1993 to the end of the 90s, graffiti was my great passion. During that time my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed – the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, which continues to delight me to this day. Since then I have devoted myself with great passion to abstract painting and constantly experiment with new techniques, color combinations and image structures.

I am particularly fascinated by the unique shapes and structures created by the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist I love continually evolving and finding new ways to bring emotions and dynamism to the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination and bring them lasting joy.

For me the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting and lets it work in a completely individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
