NWA 15224 is a pristine L3 chondrite meteorite from Northwest Africa, Sahara Desert, featuring a large CAI and weighing 9.50 g, accompanied by two certificates of authenticity, a display gem box and a specimen ID card.

A stunning 9.5 g slice of the rare NWA 15224, an officially classified L3 ordinary chondrite is now up for grabs. The polished surface displays a dense population of sharply defined, predominantly flattened chondrules set within a fine-grained matrix. Among the chondrules is a prominent rare CAI (calcium-aluminium-rich inclusion), providing a striking petrographic feature within the otherwise chondrule-rich section.
The chondrules have an apparent mean diameter of approximately 0.6 mm and retain distinct textural and compositional characteristics typical of an unequilibrated type-3 ordinary chondrite. The matrix contains partly altered sulfides and Fe-Ni metal. Mineral compositions are heterogeneous, with olivine ranging from Fa₀.₅ to Fa₃₂.₀ and low-Ca pyroxene from Fs₀.₅ to Fs₂₅.₀, consistent with the L3 classification.
NWA 15224 has a recorded total mass of only 420 g.
