According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais’s valuation in 2021 ranges roughly between 600 and 2000 euros for his paintings and multiples prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism to Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, straddling the line between abstract gesture and figurative representation. Yet his signature always remains this physical painting, this material worked by the body, bearing witness to the artist’s intimate monologue. An artist represented at the gallery Les couleurs de l'éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutchart in the Netherlands. Listed by Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Maeght Studio in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau, Moldova, Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon — Paul Bocuse Abbey, gala evening 2023. Paris, private collection gallery Île Saint Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries in Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
