About the Brand
Herda was a Dutch lighting manufacturer founded in Amsterdam in 1946 by the Daniels brothers, whose origins trace back to making metal stoves during wartime shortages before pivoting to lighting after the war. At its peak, Herda employed over 350 people and supplied roughly 95% of the Dutch lighting retail market, making it the country's largest lamp manufacturer at the time, with depots across Tilburg, Oosterwolde, Borne, and Nuth alongside its Amsterdam headquarters. The company closed in 1997, and its lamps are now sought after by collectors of vintage Dutch design.
Please note: The item will be shipped well-packed and insured.
