Lot of 65 large hand-forged iron nails dating from the 18th century up to 46 cm

Interesting collection consisting of 65 ancient hand-forged iron nails, dating to the 18th century.
The lot includes specimens of very different shapes and sizes: from small carpentry nails to elements of notable length, characterized by shafts with irregular cross-sections and large heads obtained by hammering. The largest nail measures about 46 cm.
Differences in shape, thickness, and head configuration document the artisanal workmanship of each specimen.
The surfaces retain extensive oxidation and a brown patina consistent with the age and with the nature of the material. They have not been subjected to invasive cleaning, in order to preserve their historical appearance.
