Beautiful oak display cabinet. This cabinet was originally used in grocery stores and cheese shops to present large round cheeses in an attractive and hygienic way. In the hole in the middle of the base plate, a rotating plate was placed. The cabinet 'opens' by simply lifting the whole assembly off the base plate. Early 20th century.

Condition: excellent.

Prachtig, eikenhouten vitrinekastje. Dit kastjes werd oorspronkelijk gebruikt in kruidenierszaken en kaaswinkels om grote ronde kazen aantrekkelijk en hygiënisch te presenteren. In het gaatje in het midden van de bodemplaat werd een draaiend plateau geplaatst. De kast 'opent' zich door eenvoudig het geheel van de bodemplaat te tillen. Vroeg 20e eeuws. 

Conditie: uitstekend.
