Elegant Rosenthal porcelain dining service, finely hand-painted, characterized by a refined classic-taste decoration and particularly sought after.
At the center of each piece is depicted a composition of fruit, with apples, plums, cherries and other seasonal fruit, painted with great attention to detail, to color nuances and to naturalistic rendering. The compositions are set within a central medallion on a white background, which stands out clearly against the surrounding decorative band.
Around the medallion runs a wide band in deep blue, an element that gives depth and strong color contrast to the whole. The edge is then embellished by a rich raised gold decoration, with small floral and ornamental motifs worked with particular care.
The shaped forms of the pieces, together with the richness of the gilding and the hand-painted fruit, give the set an opulent and elegant character, typical of the high-quality productions of the Rosenthal manufactory.
