Beautiful Set of 4 Pieces of Chinese Porcelain (Late Qing / Republic Period)

A very decorative and varied collection of Chinese export porcelain from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. This hand-painted set combines vivid polychrome enamel colors with characteristic traditional motifs and crackle glaze. The vases and pots together form a beautiful harmonious whole for the enthusiast of Asian art and antiques.

This set contains: from left to right:

1. Famille Verte Ginger Pot (without lid): A globular pot with hand-painted cartouches featuring lush peonies and floral motifs at the center. Finished with a ruyi-border on the shoulder and geometric panels at the base.

2. Ginger Pot with Lid (Peach Decor): A characteristic lidded pot decorated with large, deep-green peaches (shoutao) surrounded by leaves and branches. In Chinese culture, the peach is a symbol of longevity and immortality.

3. Nanking Crackle Vase with Warriors Decor: An elegant vase with a flaring neck and raised, dark brown draconic motifs and lizards (chilong) in relief on the shoulder. The body shows a dynamic, hand-painted scene of a warrior on horseback in a mountainous landscape. Note: Repair on the rim!
