Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Brass candelabrum from the early 20th century, originating in France and converted into a desk lamp, in good used condition with minor signs of age, in working order, 53 cm high with a 17 cm square base and 17 cm depth, gold colour, Louis XVI style.
Description from the seller
This early 20th-century chandelier, transformed into a table lamp, preserves all the nobility of its origin while adopting a new function with ease. The structure, made of gold-toned metal, maintains the classic verticality of the traditional chandelier: a fluted shaft that rises gracefully, a central bulging area that adds presence and balance, and a wide, stepped octagonal base that gives it stability and an almost architectural air.
The conversion to a lamp fully respects the original aesthetics. At the top, where the candle would once have stood, there is now the electrical socket, discreet and well integrated, allowing the piece to be read as a historical object rather than as a modern design. The warm shine of the metal, softened by the passage of time, adds character and a patina that enhances its antique origin.
It is a piece that combines tradition, functionality and decorative charm, perfect for lending a classic touch to desks, bedside tables, or corners where one seeks light with history.
Certified shipping and good packaging.
